Year 2 Science Enquiry

Today we took part in an enquiry where we investigated the question ‘Does each flower have the same number of petals?’ To help us to answer this question, we used tally charts to count the number of petals that each flower had. We investigated 5 different questions and then summarised our findings in an evaluation.

Year 2 Seed Experiment

Year 2 have begun their science investigation for this term. The children will be investigating what a plant needs to grow. To begin with, we planted our seeds and have been observing them to see which ones grow the most successfully. We have made our predictions and look forward to watching what happens!
