As part of our Maths week, some children from Year 3 had the opportunity to visit an allotment. We looked at what was in an allotment and made a tally chart to record our findings. We found that there were lots of trees, flowers, vegetables, sheds and scarecrows!
Maths Week in Year 2
In Year 2, our theme for Maths Week is 'The Power of 2'.
Our topic was based on Symmetry in 2D shapes and we discussed how to find lines of symmetry in shapes.
For our main activity, we completed a range of tasks that were linked to finding symmetry across a range of puzzles and shapes.
