Year 3 & 4 Disco

On Thursday 28th March the Year 3 & 4 children put on their dancing shoes and headed to the disco at Manor Way to 'make some shapes' on the dancefloor. We also set up a photo booth in Walnut class where the children could choose some funny outfits and have their photograph taken.



















Greenwich Primary Schools' Netball Finals

Our netball team competed in the Greenwich Primary Schools' Netball Finals on Tuesday 27th March at St Paul's Academy . We were competing for the plate against other local schools. We made it through to the final after playing well in the group stages. In the final we played Boxgrove and won by one goal. Congratulations to the team for winning the group and to one of our students who won player of the tournament.

Year 5 Pine Class - Science Lesson

On Monday 26th March the children in Year 5 Pine class were investigating plants. Working in pairs, the children looked at daffodils and carefully dissected them, identifying the key components.

Sport Relief and Elm Tree Class

We set ourselves the target of scoring 20 goals in just 2 minutes. We did it! Terrific!





Officially Opening of The Lodge

On Thursday 22nd March the Mayor of Greenwich was invited to Bannockburn to officially open The Lodge on the Manor Way site. Wearing his official robes, the Mayor met the children and was given a special musical welcome by the children, who sang some songs, including one in French.

Channel Four - The Secret Life of 4 & 5 Year Olds


Fun Run 2018

On Sunday 18th March Bannockburn held its very first Fun Run. Children, parents, staff (and even Monty the dog!) participated in either the 2k, 5k or 10k runs. Despite the chilly weather there was a great turnout and everyone was in good spirits. All money raised will be going to Cancer Research. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped out!
