For our continued learning on Place Value, Year 3 took part in an Active Maths lesson this week all about addition and subtraction.
We played games such as 'True or False', 'Addition and Subtraction Detectives' and 'Run and Calculate'.
This was a great way to show the value of Cooperation!
Today Year 3 took their learning outside and enjoyed an Active Maths lesson! We measured the length we could throw a beanbag using meter sticks, measuring tapes and trundle wheels. We then recorded the length in m and cm, before finding the equivalent lengths in cm. After this, we practised adding, subtracting and ordering the distances within our groups.
