Year 3 Walnut loved exploring different places with the VR Goggles today! We even got to swim with sharks! 

Fun in The Forest School for our final day in Year 3

In Year 3, we're all winners!

For Art and Design Technology, Year 3 have been making their own medals as part of our Ancient Greeks topic. We used running stitch and back stick to create our pattern and added felt for decoration. It was a true test of our school values, particularly patience!

Exploring magnets in Year 3 Walnut Class

Today in Year 3, Walnut have been experimenting with magnets! We used paper clips to test the strength of different magnets by creating a chain. Here are some photos of our experimenting!

 

 

 

 

 

Punctuation Power in Year 3 Walnut Class

 Today we have learning all about INVERTED COMMAS! 

As a class, we created a set of rules to help us remember each step of writing speech.

Full stop. 

We then practised following these rules by creating our own exchanges between two people. This helped us to consolidate our knowledge of this tricky punctuation!
