We had the most amazing day in Reception. Four dinosaurs came to visit us. We were incredibly excited. First we met Jam, he was a T-Rex. We learnt about how he hunted food, how he used to move and how fossils help us to learn about dinosaurs from the past. We also used a lot of descriptive language to describe him.
Later met some smaller and baby dinosaurs called, baby Jam, Pinky Winky and Roger. They were all a little bit shy and found somethings difficult so we helped by telling them things we loved about them. We also told them that if they kept on trying they would find the tricky things easier.
Lastly we created our own videos by acting on a green screen. We learnt how you can add different backgrounds and characters to create your own movie.
