FairTrade team chatterbox challenge!

 This week the Fair Trade team met with Mrs Seaton where they used their listening and origami skills  to make chatterboxes, which can quiz and educate others on the subject of Fair Trade. Some children used a template and others created their own versions. Ask your Fair Trade team rep if you would like to learn how to make one too!

Meet the Fairtrade Team!

Bannockburn's new Fairtrade team had a fantastic first meeting last week. They worked together to taste, rate and discuss some of the Fairtrade foods available in shops. This included chocolate, bananas and hot chocolate. They also looked at food packaging and spotted the Fairtrade logo.

The clear winner for our Fairtrade chocolate vote was Tony's Chocolonley milk chocolate. At £3 per bar, it is on the more expensive end of the scale but the children loved the creamy taste and the chunky size of the bar. Perfect for a treat and ensures the farmers get a fair deal.
