Sycamore enjoy Mini Chef

On Friday, Sycamore Class enjoyed making cheesy vegetable pasta. They were sensible and safe when cutting the ingredients and grating the cheese.

Last week, Cherry Tree made a delicious vegetable pasta dish for their Mini Chef with Miss Vincent! They worked very hard and learnt to safely slice and chop the vegetables before helping Miss Vincent put it all together. We hope you enjoyed it for dinner as much as we enjoyed making it!

Year 4 Pine Mini Chef

This term, in Pine, we have been practising our skills in the kitchen by preparing some healthy dishes for Mini Chef.

We made Tarka Dal and flatbreads. Tarka dal is a flavourful, hearty, and nutritious North Indian dish made with lentils, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and spices.

Sycamore enjoy Mini Chef

Today, Sycamore class enjoyed making a vegetable curry. They practised skills such as cutting and peeling as well as showing good safety and hygiene practices. 

Acer Tree's Mini Chef!

 On Friday, Acer Tree took part in cooking and selling veggie pasta bake. We worked in teams to cut vegetables, mix the ingredients, package up portions and then sell at the end of the day!
