Year 2 have been using the song TONY CHESTNUT to explore pitch in music. They have practiced the song with actions.
This week they have started to learn how to play the song on Glockenspiels. Working in pairs, the children worked out the tune, and which sections of the music were 'echos'.
Sycamore had a great time visiting the Maritime Museum yesterday. We enjoyed visiting the polar worlds, the pacific world and sea things to see which animals live in the different habitats as well as finding out about what it was like for explorers in the past. We had lots of fun.
