Year 1 - Damson Tree Lego Fraction Monsters

This week in Year 1 we have been learning about fractions in Damson Tree. Firstly, we refreshed our knowledge of halves, using sharing skills to split amounts and shapes equally. Next, we developed our knowledge of quarters, practising this by sharing both shapes and amounts in to four equal groups. Finally, we utilised this knowledge to create these Lego monsters which had to contain exactly ¼ red Lego bricks.
