VIP visitor: Peter Bakare visits Manor Way

Bannockburn was lucky enough to have a special VIP visitor last week! Peter Bakare, the Olympian volleyball player, visited our school to lead some special sponsored sports sessions. We had to work together as a team to encourage each other to be resilient- it was tough! Make sure you ask us about the exercises we did- we'd love to show you!

At the end of the day, we had a special assembly to hear more about Peter's amazing achievements- he inspired us to choose a goal we love and keep working towards it, even if we have some setbacks. His message fit with our school values- it was amazing to see how successful you can be if you show teamwork, effort and resilience.
