Year 3 visited the Science Museum this term to learn about forces. We learned about the history of flying and saw the different inventions that humans have used to defy gravity. We also learned about lift and air resistance forces that are involved in flying. We completed a forces scavenger hunt where we had to find objects that we were given clues about. We also discovered that friction is another force that is present in flight as we had to draw the tread of a tyre. We had a great day!
