I am emailing regarding a child attending your school- Karan Abrol (Year 4). As it’s possible you may already be aware, we ran a writing competition a few months ago called National Young Writers’ Award. The competition was open to all children across the UK from 4-14 and the theme of this year’s story competition was ‘Heroes’ and is being judged by the author, David Walliams. Karan attends our maths and English learning centre and this is where he entered the competition this year.
In total we had 39,000 entries across the UK and rather excitingly, Karan Abrol has been named as one of the top 10 entries! This is such fantastic news for Karan and his family, as it is for us and the school as well I’m sure. David Walliams is now in the process of selecting the overall winner of the competition from this top ten, in which the winning family would get to go on a trip to Disneyland Paris. This will be announced by the end of the week on social media platforms Twitter and our company website www.explorelearning.co.uk
As one of the top ten entries, the selected schools also win £250 worth of books, which we are sure you will be pleased to hear! This will be delivered to you during this month.
