Nursery Minibeast Hunt
Our new story this term is 'Superworm' so today we went on a Minibeast hunt in Forest School!
We used magnifying glasses to look under leaves and logs and used sticks to dig holes. We found ants, beetles, flies and spiders.

Year 2 Reward Trip to St Matthew's School, Tunbridge Wells
On Thursday a group of Year 2 pupils were chosen due to consistently making good choices in school. The children were accompanied by Mrs Seeranj and Mr Smales.
The group drove down to Tunbridge Wells to visit St Matthew's High Brooms CofE Primary School. The chidlren split into two groups and joined in with some Design Technology lessons, making models of investions that can make our lives better.
In addition, the chidlren went outside to the Forest School and made stick men based upon the story, Stick Man, by Julia Donaldson. The children had a lovely day and we are already organising another special day in which some of the Year 2 pupils from St Matthew's School come and visit us in Plumstead.

Lemon and Lime at the Aquarium
Lemon and Lime classes enjoyed a great trip to the London Aquarium. We saw lots of sights on the way including the Houses of Parliament, Waterloo Station and the London Eye.
Children particularly liked seeing the sharks and the colourful jellyfish.
They made sure to tell the turtles to watch out!
They saw what looked like a crocodile but this one liked the water, unlike the one in our class book.
