Zoom zoom we are going to the moon!!

The nursery children have been exploring space and planets through the much-loved story Whatever Next! by Jill Murphy. After reading the story, the children followed Baby Bear’s adventure to the moon and used it as a starting point to learn about space, rockets, and the planets. The story sparked lots of imagination, discussion, and excitement about what might be beyond the sky.

Nursery (Conker Class) Arts Week

Conker Class have been learning about the William Tell Opera by Rossini. We listened to the story and overture. In the story, William Tell has to shoot an apple balanced on his son's head. In Forest School we made catapults...

We also printed with apples.

We looked at work by the Austrian artist, Paul Klee, and made shape pictures inspired by his work.
