So here are the results for this week Mathletics. Well done for everyone who has logged on and had a go.

Damson Class

Roan has been online for 5hrs and 29mins.

Asaru has been online 4hrs and 2mins. 

Joseph has collected 4800 points and Alisa has collected 4260.

Well done Damson class! 

Lime Class 

Sienna has been online for 47 mins and achieved 290 points. 

Alby has been online for 25mins and achieved 270 points. 

Well done Alby and Sienna!

Lemon Class 

Avery has been online for 1hr and 48mins and has achieved 2080 points. 

Well done Avery! 

Juniper Class 

Aashmeen has been online for 3hrs and 50m mins and collected 6200 points. 

Connie has been online for 2hrs and 16mins and collected 2820 points. 

Well done Connie and Aashmeen!

Overall as a year group we have used our Mathletics for 35hrs and 53mins, great job! 

Well done to all the children that have collected Silver and Bronze awards as well.

 We can see that lots of you have been logging in and working hard on your Maths skills so well done. Below are the children who have earned the most points and spent the most time online this week. 

In Lemon Class:

Austin has been online for 2hrs 59mins and has earned 4320 points. 

Al-Amin has been online for 40mins and has earned 740 points 

Lemon Class have a total of 3hrs 40mins online this week.

In Damson Class: 

Roan has been online for 2hrs 46mins and has earned 3180 points. 

Felix has been online for 2hrs 42mins and has earned 3672 points. 

Damson have achieved a total of 15hrs 15mins online learning this week.

Keeping POSITIVE with the Year 2 Teachers!

Hello Year 2!

We hope you are continuing to stay safe and are well.

All of the Year 2 teachers have been working hard preparing and checking your home learning tasks but we have also taken part in some activities to keep us feeling positive and happy.

We thought we would share some of the things we have been doing over the lockdown period and perhaps you can share with us too.

Remember your own mental health and well-being is important too!

Miss Haigh has been exercising at home and enjoying playing boxing using her virtual headset. She has also been following online cooking lessons and baking amazing cakes!

Miss Hoadley has created this AMAZING paint by numbers art piece. WOW!

Mr Voke has been playing his Ukuele every day and practising on his drum kit. I am sure he will play you a song when we are back in school.

Miss Lawrence celebrated her birthday! Have any of you had your birthday? How did you celebrate? She also shared a story about kindness for her teacher friends at university.

I have been keeping busy by running regular online Zumba classes for the teachers at school. I have been looking after my cat Shadow, having regular cat snuggles and letting him play on his lead in the garden!

I also found this old photograph from when I was in Year 2 – a long time ago now! I think I was going on a school trip to the zoo!

We think about you every day and look forward to seeing you all soon.
