The Final Song - Goodbye Year 6

Last Day Picnic! Farewell Year 4!

Today was the last day of the Summer Term and we enjoyed having our lunch outside in the beautiful sunshine.

I want to say a huge thank you to all the children in Year 4. It has been a pleasure teaching you all this year and before in Year 2. I will miss you all. Keep on chasing your dreams!

Have a lovely summer break and I am sure I will visit you in the future.

Miss Bethell 😁

Fun in The Forest School for our final day in Year 3

Summer yoga videos

Dear Parent/Carers,

Over the summer holidays our yoga teacher will be uploading weekly yoga videos for you and your family to enjoy! The yoga sessions will offer your child a space to think about their physical and mental wellbeing and ideas about leading a healthier lifestyle.

The videos will be accessible via the following link, starting from the week beginning 19th July:

We would like to remind you to protect your child online through decreasing any potential risks and helping them to manage their use of technology in a safe and healthy way. Below is a simple checklist to help you.

Year 6 Linden- Food technology

Linden enjoyed making fruit skewers today.
In previous lessons, we had learnt about seasonal food and food miles. We researched where food came from, how it was grown and processed and how it got to the UK.
In today’s lesson, we finessed our cutting techniques and enjoyed the fruits of our labour.

Year 6 Birch- Food Technology

In Food Technology, Birch Tree Class have been learning about where our food comes from and whether they are reared, grown or caught.

We researched different fruits to find if they could be locally sourced and then made some healthy fruit kebabs!

Year 6 Elm's reward trip to Joss Bay

After a delay due to wet and windy weather, a group of Year 6 children from Elm went to Joss Bay last Thursday.

They were chosen for their consistently good behaviour choices, positive attitudes to their work and good attendance.

For some of the children it was their first visit to the seaside and they had a great experience.

Unfortunately the seagulls were very attentive to anything they thought might be food,  so we had to eat our lunch 'undercover.'
