Spanish fun in Year 3

This term have been learning Spanish vocabulary linked to different body parts and starting to learn about masculine, feminine, singular and plural nouns in Spanish and their determiners. To practise the vocabulary thoroughly, we have sung songs, played games like Beat The Teacher and Simon Says and have done lots of speaking and listening activities.

Jean Petit is dancing with Year 3 - join in with us!

This term Year 3 will be learning French body parts and, as part of their cross-curricular learning, they will be learning the song 'Jean Petit qui danse'

Year 2 - Parts of the body

 

Year 2 have been learning about the human body during their Science lessons. The children got to compare a healthy and unhealthy x-ray and identified the parts of their bodies. They have looked at different skeletons and discussed the importance of keeping their bodies healthy.
