On Thursday 24th March, all children at both Manor Way and High Street sites will be celebrating our annual International Day, where children will experience a range of cultural activities and learn more about our wider world in a variety of global education workshops.
Children may wear non-school uniform and we would love to see either bright colours that represent the flag of a chosen country or children may wear traditional clothing and accessories (but no jewellery please) that reflect their own heritage and culture.
We are also looking for home-made edible contributions from all different cultures for the evening’s community event. If you would like to contribute something to this event, please add your name to the boards which will be displayed after-school at HS and MW sites in the coming days or email into school with details of what you are able to prepare.
In addition to your food donation (in a container labelled with your child’s name and class) you would need to supply us with an ingredients list and basic storage instructions, so as to ensure allergen information can be provided to the community attending the evening. The dishes will need to be brought into school (either site) on Thursday 24th March.
