Y3 become Ancient Egyptians for the day!

Year 3 had their immersion day for this half term where they spent a whole day learning about Ancient Egypt. Their activities included:

Learning about why scarab beetles were an important symbol in Egypt. They then made their own out of clay.

Reading and writing using hieroglyphs

Making their own pyramids

Designing their own Ancient Egyptian collars

Nursery celebrate St George's Day!

The children in Nursery had lots of fun learning about St George and the Dragon. We made our own St George flags and we had a parade around the playground. We then made our own jam sandwiches to have a celebratory snack time. Happy St George's Day!

Nursery enjoyed a special Superhero day. The children had the chance to dress as a favourite Superhero and participated in lots of Superhero themed activities. They listened to Superhero stories and music, played with Superhero small world figures, and made their own Superhero hats, masks and cuffs.
