As part of our learning sequence, we took ourselves to Forest School to act out washing a lion! We took it in turns to put into action all of the imperative (bossy!) verbs we would be including in our written instructions. We washed, scrubbed, rinsed, brushed and even filed our lion's nails to make sure he looked his very best.
In Cherry Class (Reception) this week we have had a lot of fun acting out our new adapted stories of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. When adapting our stories, Cherry's new story was called 'We're going on a Lion Hunt'. We wrote our new story in a big book to help us tell the story and also made new actions to help us remember.
