This term, in Year 4, pupils are deepening their understanding in Maths by further developing their vocabulary and reasoning skills to explain concepts for solving calculations. We have been using a range of resources to demonstrate how an understanding of place value can be used when multiplying larger numbers.

Fractions Investigation in Year 2

Over the past two weeks, Year 2 have been busy learning about fractions. Today, we took part in an investigation to work out if 2/4 is the same as 1/2.  We then created 'maths stories' to prove our findings!
