Year 4 were tasked with planning and creating an allotment so that we could grow popular fruit and vegetables. First, we surveyed which fruit and vegetables were the most popular in the class by using a tally chart. We then created pictograms representing the information that we had gathered. After, we worked hard to create bar charts showing the classes favourite fruits and vegetables. We will use this information to plan our garden allotment and decide how much of each fruit and vegetable we plant.
We also measured the area of allotments to see how much area we would have and how we could use the area efficiently.
