Year 5 have been identifying the different jobs musicians have when playing in a group. They have listened to music from hundreds of years ago to work out what instrument is playing the tune, and what instruments are accompanying the tune.
As well as this, they have been learning about different musical structures AND comparing instruments we use today to instruments from the past.
We used xylophones to play a simple tune, and the ukuleles to accompany them playing a drone.
