In English this week, Year 4 have been learning about the
importance of headings and subheadings to organise information in a non-fiction
text. We had an article about extreme sports that we cut apart sentence by
sentence and had to match the information to the subheadings and appropriate
images to put the article back together again. After, we discussed how headings
and subheadings can organise information for the reader and allow them to find
specific information quickly.
