Using Edvard Munch's work as inspiration, Walnut class captured their own emotions during Arts Week 2.
We captured images of ourselves demonstrating different emotion such as excitement, sadness and fear then we drew what we had captured into our sketch books.
Knowing that we would later need to transfer our drawing onto Styrofoam, we kept our work as simple as possible. We paid special attention to capturing our body language and facial expressions so that it would be very clear to our audiences what emotions we were trying to capture!
Walnut class demonstrated perseverance and effort as they focussed on ensuring they took extra care to not press too hard on the Styrofoam material. Something that proved to be very challenging!
