Year 4 - Exciting Badminton Action This Term!

This term, our Year 4 students have been having a fantastic time playing badminton! They have shown great enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination while learning new skills on the court. From perfecting their serves to mastering quick reflexes.

It has been wonderful to see students encouraging each other, improving their game, and most importantly, having fun!

Whether playing friendly matches or practicing their shots, they have embraced the spirit of sportsmanship. 

Well done to all our budding badminton stars—keep smashing it!

Violin and Guitar lessons - Greenwich Music School

Today the children at Manor Way were treated to a special music assembly.  They met the two teachers who will be starting at Bannockburn after Easter.

Aerobics with Year 2.

In PE today, we practised some aerobics moves as a whole class before working in groups to create our own routines. In groups, we selected four different moves and practised together before performing them to the whole class. 

Road Safety Worskhop

Today years 1 and 2 enjoyed a road safety workshop where we learnt about the importance of road safety, especially the four main rules:

1. Think

2. Stop

3. Look

4. Listen 

We enjoyed exploring the props as well as asking and answering questions about road safety. 

Reception - Pear and Cherry visit to Mudchute Farm

Reception had a wonderful trip to Mudchute Farm. We saw lots of different farm animals including sheep, goats, cows, ducks, chickens, donkeys and many more. The children enjoyed feeding the sheep and goats.
