Year 4 - Sound

 Year 4 have been learning about sound in science. 

This week, we looked at pitch and investigated how low or high a sound is on different instruments. 

Using our investigation skills, we  found that the long boomwackers created a low pitched sound, were as the short ones created a high pitched one.  We also investigated this using other instruments. 

 

We also investigated what sort of sound, bottles make when they are blown into, depending on the amount of water to air ratio.
