School nurse appointments
On Wednesday the 16th June, our school nurse will be available in the morning for appointments with parent/ carers to discuss any health concerns for their child.
If you wish to request an appointment, please email info@bannockburn.greenwich.sch.uk with the child's name, class and year group, and someone will be in touch if a time is allocated to you.
If you are given a time, appointments will be 30 mins and the table and chairs will be cleaned between each appointment. Please remember to wear your face covering and socially distance. Hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided.
Appointments will be held in the Partnership Unit on the corner of Plumstead High Street and Bannockburn Road. Please come directly to the Partnership Unit at your allocated time, do not go to the school office.

Football fun in Chestnut (Arts Weeks)
Over the past week and a half, Chestnut class have enjoyed creating artwork and writing all about football! We have been outdoors practising our dribbling and passing in 5-a-side football matches.
In our English lessons, we have been learning about famous footballers like Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane, and have written fact-files about their lives.
In Art, Chestnut Class have been trying splatter painting, printing with polystyrene tiles, recreating flags and practising their sketching skills.
Year 6 transition to secondary school
In Year 6, we have already been doing lots on preparing the children for their move to secondary school.

Arts Weeks - Year 5
In Year 5 Aspen Class, we have tried out lots of new skills as part of Arts Weeks. Here is a small example - check back soon for some photos of the finished pieces of art!
Forest School - Year 5 Arts Weeks
We decided that some of our artwork needed framing so we headed down to the Forest School, scavenged suitable sized sticks and work in pairs to secure them into frames. The children showed perseverance and, after half term, we will continue to develop our skills until we are happy with our final frames.
Bikes - Year 5 Arts Weeks
Year 5 Aspen Class Arts Weeks theme is 'cycling' so some children enjoyed trying out the school bikes.
