The Fun Run money has been counted and a massive £1907.70 was raised for Cancer Research UK this year!

Year 4 spent last term learning all about La Fruta and they started learning about how Spanish nouns have gender. They played games and completed tasks in pairs and small groups to sort their fruit vocabulary and understand how to recognise masculine and feminine nouns in Spanish. This knowledge will be useful to them as we progress through the rest of the Spanish curriculum via other topics.
Year 3 spent last term focusing on learning their Spanish numbers; they played lots of fun interactive games to help practice a variety of skills - Bingo for listening, Mindreaders for reading and speaking and Tracing Time for their writing skills.
As we near the end of Spring term, the Premises Personnel team have been helping to reunite items of lost property with their owners. Some quotes from the children today:
"We're trying to help people not waste money on buying new stuff when they lose it"
"My parents got annoyed when I lost my water bottle once but luckily we found it in lost property and it had my name on it so I got it back"
" Lost property makes our school look messy, so it's best to not leave your things lying around"
As a reminder, please label all your children's items with their name (a child's surname is the most helpful) - this includes: coats, water bottles, lunch packs, school bags and accessories.
