Parents and carers in Nursery had the
opportunity to stay with their child and play alongside them in the indoor and
outdoor environments.
The focus for the
session was Literacy (reading/writing).
There were activities set up across the nursery which showed parents how to support their child at home. 
Activities included:
- Foam letters and bath crayons in water
- Painting with sponge letters
- Making letters/words with playdough
- Mark making in cornflour/shaving foam/glitter
- Drawing on lining paper
- Alphabet puzzles
- Threading
- Making CVC words with magnetic letters
- Writing with water and paint brushes
- Large chalks
