In Humanities this week, Year 5 Orchard Class used their drama skills
to create a courtroom in the classroom.
We used our knowledge and understanding
of the Anglo-Saxon and Viking judicial systems to decide suitable punishments
for different crimes, and also compared ideas with a modern day prosecution team,
to explore how the judicial system has changed; a jury then unanimously decided
which punishments were more appropriate.
Our modern day prosecutors discussing the appropriate punishment for our suspect.
The all important Jury.
