Year 6 Mayan Day

On Friday, Year 6 enjoyed learning about the existence of the ancient Maya. We engaged in many activities including a courtroom drama, a traditional Mayan marketplace (where we enjoyed some traditional Mayan products) and used pastels to create various textures and tones. The highlight  of the day was the game of Pok-O-Tok where the challenge was to score a point without using hands, feet or head!
