Goodbye Year 6

On the last day of the school year we all said goodbye to our Year 6 pupils.

Wherever they may be going in September, we wish them all the very best for the future.

Lunch 'Al Fresco' at Manor Way

In the last week of term the children at Manor Way, who have a school lunch, took their food outside and had 'lunch al fresco'. Luckily, the rain kept away and we all managed to eat our lunch without getting wet!

Cooking Courgetti

A group of children at High Street had a great morning making and cooking courgetti and making a salad all from ingredients the children have helped to grow in our garden.

As you can see we all had a great time!

We picked all of these ingredients from our garden.

We had to wash all of the ingredients to make sure they were clean.

We took it in turns to help Mrs Curtis make courgetti. As you can see from our faces we loved doing this job!

We grated the beetroot.

We chopped tomatoes and spring onions.

We took it in turns to mix the ingredients together.

We all had a little taste of our cooking and took some home to share with our families.

Making Potato Salad

Some of the children at High Street site made potato salad using ingredients they have grown in their garden.

The children have been involved in planting seeds, caring for the plants and harvesting the produce. We had great fun cooking and thought it tasted delicious!
