This week's Sing Up from Mr Griffiths

This week have a look at the BBC ten pieces.

It’s about a piece of music by a man called Edward Elgar. He wrote music about his friends.  He would describe them with music.

Do you know someone grumpy?  What would their music sound like?

Think about people in your house and some teachers at school and what music would best describe them. Would it be fast or slow? Loud or quiet?

For example – If I think of Mrs Seaton I think of something DISCO with glitter balls and a strong beat.

Watch the videos and see if you can create a portrait of someone you know, maybe even someone from school you miss. Can you write about what they would be like if they were a piece of music?

If you like this music you can see the London Symphony Orchestra play the whole thing and explore the orchestra on LSO Play.
