Some members of the Art Group spent time this week perusing the fabulous Arts Week displays at our Manor Way site. They very helpfully filled in evaluation forms commenting on the colours, textures, patterns and compositions they saw which we will be feeding back to class teachers.
The Debating team took part in a debate where they researched, discussed, debated and then voted on the question 'Should Bannockburn facilitate more trips?'
They communicated respectfully, even when they weren't on their preferred side. Well done Debating Team!
On Monday, children from Year 6 that have had excellent attendance throughout their time at Bannockburn went on a trip to Thorpe Park. They had a fabulous day and discovered their more adventurous sides.
Children in Reception and Year 1 were treated to a wonderful performance by Quantum Theatre. One of the children said: "It's brilliant! My favourite part was the flying bit!"
