Year 5 trip to the Imperial War Museum

Wow! What a trip! We knew we would have a brilliant time at the Imperial War Museum as some Year 5 children had been before (Remember the Spy themed homework trip in Autumn 1?) but the majority of children had no idea how many interactive, varied and exciting learning experiences they would have.

We took our time looking round the WW1 gallery completing a trail that Ms Britton had prepared for us. Some of the activities included playing a game of trenchball, walking through a replica trench and being measured up to see if we would qualify as a soldier. It really was a day full of learning and 'wow' moments.
