Healthy Body, Healthy Brain Cookery Class

This week's recipe was a nutritious, delicious daal, rice & salad. We made a dahl with onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, chillies, red lentils, spices, coriander and coconut milk. We also added some fresh, washed spinach at the end- some of us were a bit unsure of the spinach to begin with but it was delicious! We really enjoyed trying some new flavours, like the coriander. Our salad contained tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion and some coriander leaves.

Next week, we will be making our own flatbreads- don't forget to keep a look out for our recipes so you can try them at home.
