This half term, Year 3 have been learning about the Paralympics and practising different Paralympic sports. In previous weeks, we have played Boccia and acted as a guide for our blindfolded partner around an obstacle course.
This week we were learning about sitting volleyball and after watching a clip of athletes competing in this sport, we headed to the Astroturf to have a go ourselves.
We tried different throwing and catching techniques before attempting to 'bump' the volleyball with our hands and arms.
