Last week, the Global Ambassadors met up to discuss Earth Day which was on April 22nd. We looked at why Earth Day was celebrated, exploring the them of Our Power, Our Planet and looking at what we could do to help save the planet. We then created our own Earth Day pledges which included:
- recycling paper and plastic
- avoiding single use plastics
- walk more
- taking a bus when travelling further
- check if food is seasonal before buying
We wrote then down onto leaves to create our own 'Tree of Change'!
