Year 3 Ukulele Club
What a fantastic term it has been for our Year 3 Ukulele Club! Our budding musicians have traded silence for some seriously catchy tunes, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made.
We kicked things off by getting to know our instruments. From learning the names of the parts to mastering the four strings (G, C, E, and A), the children quickly moved from "plucking" to "playing."
The real magic happened when we tackled our first four chords. With just a few finger placements, the group unlocked a world of music. These foundational skills allowed us to jam along to some huge hits, including:
- Roar
- Best Day of My Life
- Waka Waka
Seeing the children grow in confidence, coordination, and musicality has been a joy. Whether they were perfecting a tricky transition or singing along at the top of their lungs, their enthusiasm was infectious.
