Nursery - Making a Nest for Mummy Owl

On Friday afternoon some of the nursery children had fun in the Forest Area with Miss Dadds. Miss Dadds, acted as Mummy Owl from the story, The Owl Babies, which is the core text for this half term's topic. Mummy Owl asked the children to help her build her nest. The children explored the Forest School area, looking for wooden logs and then filled up the nest with leaves to keep Mummy Owl warm. It was great to see all the children working together (This month's School Value is COOPERATION) to keep Mummy Owl (aka Miss Dadds) warm and cosy in her nest!
