We enjoyed an afternoon exploring different media’s in Art today.
We have been studying the Japanese artist Hokusai’s art piece called The Great Wave. Each week, we have focused on developing our sketching skills and today we begun to explore the different textures we can create using different medias, such as, pastel, poster paints, watercolours, pencils and chalks.
Below are some of our sketchbooks showing us practising. Next week, we will be combing the materials to create our own images of the Great Wave!
