Today we have learning all about INVERTED COMMAS!
As a class, we created a set of rules to help us remember each step of writing speech.

New line,
Inverted comma
Character’s words beginning with a capital letter
Punctuation of your choice
Inverted comma
'Said' synonym
Full stop.
We then practised following these rules by creating our own exchanges between two people. This helped us to consolidate our knowledge of this tricky punctuation!
