This week in Year 3, we have been learning about magnetic poles. We found out that a magnet has two poles, north and south and that when acting as a compass, they move with the Earth's magnetic field.
We wanted to find out which direction was north so we conducted an investigation to find out. We used bowls of water and made our own compasses.
Luckily, nearly all our magnets faced the same direction!
