This week Year 4 have had their first French session using bilingual dictionaries to look up new language from English and also to translate common places in the town from French into English. As part of their Town topic this term, Year 4 have been learning all about gender or nouns and how the articles & determiners can help tell us a noun's gender (masculine or feminine) and how they work in French - did you know a bilingual dictionary will tell you the gender of a noun (masc or fem) as well as the translation?
