On Tuesday 12th July, some members of Yr 5 were selected to visit the Houses of Paliament. We really enjoyed ourselves and learnt lots about British history and Politics. First, we went on a tour of the House of Lords and the House of Commons, which was really exciting as we knew we were in the place where the laws of the country are made. After the tour, we attended a workshop about how a law comes to pass. We were lucky enough for our local MP Abena Oppong-Asare to visit us at the end of our workshop and speak to us.
