This week, Year 1 have been learning about length and height as well as using language such as tall, short and long. We have discussed both non-standard and standard units of measurement. At the beginning of the week we used cubes to measure the length and height of different objects and compared them. We then moved on to use standard units of measurement by using a ruler. We measured the length and height of different objects using the language of centimetres.
