The theme for Maths Week England this year was: THREE IS A MAGIC NUMBER!
As part of Maths Week , the children at Bannockburn took part in different Maths activities throughout the week including:
- a Times Table Rock Star Competition for Years 3-6. Well done to Birch who came 1st with the most correct answers! (Special mentions to Pine that came 2nd and Elm who came 3rd!)
- daily magic number challenge where we had to think of a number and carry out some calculations. Try this one:
- Pick a number between 20 and 100.
- Now add your digits together.
- Now subtract the total from your original number.
- Finally, add the digits of the new number together.

- Your answer will always be 9
