This week in year 3, our little people have been discussing some big questions in a ‘Philosophy for Children’ lesson. Each year 3 class shared their opinion on a big question relating to Rights and Responsibilities: “Should children wear uniform?” “Are rules important?” “Why is it important to work as a team?” “Is community important?”
We enjoyed practising our listening skills by making sure we were quiet when others were sharing their ideas. We will be continuing to develop our skills in turn taking, good listening and idea sharing when we do another P4C lesson over the next half term.
